Chicken Casserole Recipe
INGREDIENTS
4 cups chopped cooked chicken
6 sices white bread, torn in small pieces
1/2 cup celery, chopped
1/2 cup onion, chopped
1/2 cup green bell pepper, chopped
1/3 cup mayonnaise
2 cups milk
1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup
4 large eggs, beaten
1/2 cup sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded
DIRECTIONS
Combine chicken, bread, celery, onion, bell pepper and mayonnaise in large bowl, mix well.
Spoon chicken mixture into a greased 2 quart baking dish.
Combine milk, soup and eggs in medium bowl, mix well. Pour over the chicken mixture. Chill, covered, 3 to 4 hours.
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Sprinkle Cheddar on top of casserole. Bake, uncovered, for 1 hour.
